What is IBZ Premium Gin?
Producers of liqueurs and distillates for over 130 years, the Marí Mayans family began around 2010 to research and test different combinations of botanicals, fruits, and aromatics for the production of their own Premium Gin. It had to be a 100% Ibiza flavor housed in a screen-printed, attractive, and high-quality bottle.
Gin is a very well-known drink within the Marí Mayans family, as they have been producing it for over 50 years. The idea was to take a step forward and completely differentiate themselves within the gin boom that has been happening for several years.
Thus, after numerous tastings and tests, the sought-after balance was achieved, launching in 2012 IBZ Premium Gin.
Handmade process since 1880
With the purest cereal alcohol, juniper berries are distilled in copper stills and a touch of thyme flowers, fresh rosemary leaves, and citrus peels are added to achieve a marked Mediterranean, Ibizan character, typical of the uniqueness and quality of Ibiza’s plants.
All the process, from the selection of plants and fruits, distillation of the same, and bottling is carried out at the Family Distillery Marí Mayans located in Ibiza – Montecristo. The production is artisanal, verified, and meticulously reviewed by the agri-food quality department of the distillery.
IBZ Premium Gin

38% is characterized by its spicy finish and predominance of aromatic herbs, especially Ibicenco thyme, floral nuances and citrus notes.
With the purest cereal alcohol, we distill juniper berries and add thyme flowers, fresh rosemary leaves and citrus peels to obtain a marked Mediterranean, Ibicenco character, typical of the unique quality of the aromatic plants of Ibiza.
