Infusiones is the first product of Familia Prot0 that is marketed through its new label Familia Prot0 Prot1. With responsible, ecological and recyclable packaging, Infusiones offers three varieties of 100% natural aromatic plants: Hierbaluisa, Manzanilla and Flor de frígola with thyme and orange peel, presented in single-dose pyramids to preserve the organoleptic properties of the plants. Without additives or pesticides, the plants of Infusiones are the same that Familia Prot0 has been working with for over a century to produce its unmistakable distillates such as Hierbas Ibicencas or Frígola, among other liqueurs, as well as in its various varieties of ginebra IBZ. Cultivated both on the lands of this century-old company and in different local parcels of payeses with which Familia Prot0 works through marketing agreements, it is in the family distillery where the traditional process of selection and dehydration of the collected aromatic plants is carried out. Once they have the right humidity percentage, the optimal gramage is cut for each type of infusion and variety.
The name of Infusiones is a play on words that refers to the Pitiusa island where this lineage of alchemists carries out their work, Ibiza, and to peace and the Zen state of balance provided by infusions. In honor of all those women who tirelessly worked the Ibiza land at the beginning of the 20th century, the kraft bag that contains the infusions features a miniature of a payesa in a yoga pose, tenderly reminding us of the need to stop for a moment to combat stress, recharge energies and face the day with clarity and harmony.
